The rematch between super middleweight mainstay Carl "the Cobra" Froch (32-2, 23 KO's) and the hard-hitting upstart George Groves (19-1, 15 KO's) on May 31 will arguably be one of the biggest fights in British boxing history.
Add the fact that there is brewing bad blood between the two camps, given Froch's controversial stoppage win six months ago, and you have all the makings of a doozy in a few weeks.
Based on how mightily Froch struggled with Groves the last time and the fact that Groves is 10 years younger than the potentially shopworn Froch, there are serious causes for concern for the Cobra and his handlers.
However, longtime Froch rival Andre Ward tends to favor the Super Six runner-up in this one. And I tend to agree with him.
Look for George Groves to have his moments again, but Carl Froch will emerge victorious with a clear-cut decision victory in their highly-anticpated rematch.
